How we collect, use, and protect your data — in plain English.
Adaptive Nutrition ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy query, contact us at privacy@adaptivenutrition.com.
We collect the following categories of personal data:
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:
We use essential cookies required for the checkout and login process to function, and — only with your consent — optional analytics and marketing cookies to understand how the site is used. When you first visit the site, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies individually. You can change your preference at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.
We share limited personal data with trusted third-party processors who help us run the Program, including:
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
Some of our processors may store or process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, to keep your data protected to UK/EU standards.
We retain account and order data for as long as you have an active Program account, and for a further period afterward as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes (typically up to 6 years). Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or 24 months of inactivity, whichever is sooner.
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted checkout (256-bit TLS), restricted internal access to personal data, and regular security review of our third-party processors. No online system is completely secure, but we work to minimise risk at every stage.
Under UK/EU GDPR, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@adaptivenutrition.com. We will respond within one month, as required by law.
We only send marketing emails if you separately opt in — this is never bundled with the terms agreement at checkout. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out at any time by emailing us.
The Program is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and where appropriate, we will notify you directly.
For any privacy question, contact privacy@adaptivenutrition.com. If you are unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or your local data protection authority if you are based in the EU.
