2. What We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Identity & contact data — name, email address, phone number, provided at checkout.
• Payment data — handled directly by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
• Delivery data — postal address, if you order a physical companion (printed workbook or journal).
• Program usage data — progress through weekly content, workbook entries, and journal entries you choose to save.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, and device information, collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies.
• Communications — records of correspondence if you contact our support team.

3. Why We Collect It (Lawful Basis)

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:

• Performance of a contract — to process your order, deliver Program access, and provide customer support.
• Legitimate interests — to keep our systems secure, prevent fraud, and improve the Program, where this does not override your rights.
• Consent — for optional marketing emails and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation — to meet accounting, tax, and other regulatory requirements.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies required for the checkout and login process to function, and — only with your consent — optional analytics and marketing cookies to understand how the site is used. When you first visit the site, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies individually. You can change your preference at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.

5. Who We Share Data With

We share limited personal data with trusted third-party processors who help us run the Program, including:

• Our payment processor, to securely handle transactions.
• Our email delivery provider, to send Program content and, where you've opted in, marketing updates.
• Our courier or fulfilment partner, only if you order a physical companion item.
• Analytics providers, only with your cookie consent.

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

6. International Transfers

Some of our processors may store or process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, to keep your data protected to UK/EU standards.

7. How Long We Keep Data

We retain account and order data for as long as you have an active Program account, and for a further period afterward as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes (typically up to 6 years). Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or 24 months of inactivity, whichever is sooner.

8. How We Protect Your Data

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted checkout (256-bit TLS), restricted internal access to personal data, and regular security review of our third-party processors. No online system is completely secure, but we work to minimise risk at every stage.

9. Your Rights

Under UK/EU GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Port your data to another provider in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

10. Marketing Communications

We only send marketing emails if you separately opt in — this is never bundled with the terms agreement at checkout. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out at any time by emailing us.

11. Children's Data

The Program is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and where appropriate, we will notify you directly.
